Debi started her real estate career over 10 years ago at Windermere before transitioning to Jack Cole Realty and eventually founding her own company, Ries Realty.
Debi has a passion for building relationships, being a part of an ever-changing industry and having full autonomous control over her success, making her transition to real estate a natural next step in her career.
Debi Ries-Smith

Her ability to negotiate contracts, personalize her approach to every client, and consistently stay up to date on market trends has led to lifelong clients and friendships throughout her real estate career.
In her free time, Debi enjoys exploring the Pacific Northwest, spending time with her three sons, happy hours with friends, and remodeling her home.
Ann Ries
Originally from Anaconda, Montana, Ann has lived in Everett, WA for over 50 years and has extensive, firsthand knowledge of the various communities in Washington State.
Her love and passion for building relationships with and helping others is what led her to start her real estate career in 2010. She worked for Jack Cole Realty for 6 years before joining her daughter Debi’s company, Ries Realty, in 2016. Broker
Ann’s eye for design, extremely outgoing personality, and persistence in finding the best possible home for her clients has resulted in the development of an extensive network within the industry, Washington community expertise, and a loyal client base.
When she isn’t working, Ann enjoys spending time with her 10 grandkids and 2 dogs, getting together for lunch or happy hour with friends, and watching HGTV.
Kaitlin Arnold
Marketing Manager
Born and raised in Washington state, Kaitlin graduated from the University of Washington with a Communication degree in 2018. She has had the opportunity to work at a variety of companies including but not limited to PepsiCo, Windermere, and GEICO. She has always had a passion for marketing and currently does marketing at GEICO. Kaitlin is Debi's niece and Ann's granddaughter. After noticing that Ries Realty LLC didn't have a website or strong online presence, she immediately saw an opportunity to use her marketing skills to create a website and increase their outreach.
Currently living in Maryland, Kaitlin manages this website as well as all of Ries Realty LLC's social media pages.
